Siren Marine’s next-generation MTC (which stands for monitor, track, control) is an onboard blackbox system that aggregates data from sensors on the boat and sends it via 3G cellular service to a server.  

This system effectively adds a boat to the “Internet of Things,” which is a concept for using connectivity to offer greater remote access to systems and data.
